About Me

I think the core of what defines me are my personal qualities — an affinity for kindness, a deep curiosity and a passion for adventure. These are what have motivated my work as a software engineer, which has led me from brand name security companies to cloud service providers, and currently brings me to an aerospace company.

I love challenging problem solving and critical analysis of complex topics. I spend my free time writing about software engineering and computer science (on my blog and newsletter). When my brain gets fuzzy from computer sciencing I get out and hike, cook or take pictures of dusk (hence the theme of my website here, which is filled with pictures of my lovely home town).
